Landscape Maintenance Manager
The Landscape Maintenance Manager is a ‘hands on’ position and is responsible for creating and maintaining excellent client relationships through consistent and honest communication. They oversee day-to-day operations related to the maintenance accounts, creating work orders and proposals, ordering materials, managing water budgets, and irrigation schedules. Manage and train crew members in all aspects of pruning, grounds maintenance, proper irrigation techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Monitor and supervise the crew and coordinate schedules with clients using best horticulture practices.
Manage all mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, blowing, pruning, etc.
Create daily schedules for crews.
Irrigation Repair and troubleshooting.
Enforces Composting and recycling programs.
Responsible for workplace safety and following all OSHA safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
5 plus years of experience in Residential Landscape Maintenance.
Horticulture Certifications and any other Certifications related to Sustainable Landscape Maintenance.
Practices Sustainable Landscaping Techniques.
Able to modify and program Irrigation Controllers.
Detail Gardening Experience
Organized and Personable – talk with clients, co-workers, and other professionals.
Trustworthy, hardworking, reliable, and able to motivate.
Valid California Drivers License.
Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in all different weather conditions.
Required lifting up to 50 pounds.
Able to frequently climb stairs and hillsides and walk on uneven ground and plant landscapes
Job Type: Full time/Part-Time
Location: Marin County California
Pay rate: $32 - $35 per hour depending on experience.
