Landscape Construction Worker
The Landscape Construction Laborer is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of the Landscape Construction Foreman. Responsible for completing construction landscape installation jobs throughout Marin County in an efficient manner, promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibits pride and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.
Use assigned tools and equipment in a proper/safe manner.
Maintain a clean and safe job site.
Conduct a variety of job site landscape construction tasks.
Understand irrigation principles and demonstrate the ability to affect all routine irrigation repairs.
Qualifications and Skills
2 years minimum previous residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience
Previous Experience in carpentry, masonry, and landscape
Experience building decks, fences, pergolas, gates, etc.
Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.
Understand and complete the following: irrigation repair, sprinkler head replacements, etc.
Demonstrate ability to program irrigation controllers.
Ability to work with a team and follow directions.
Trustworthy, hardworking, reliable.
Valid California Driver’s License.
Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time in all different weather conditions.
Required lifting up to 50 pounds.
Able to frequently climb stairs and hillsides and walk on uneven ground and plant landscapes.
Job Type: Full time/Part-Time
Location: Marin County California
Pay rate: $22 - $33 Depends on experience.
